FINANCE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT NEEDED BLHS is currently accepting applications for a part time finance administrative assistant position. Wage based on qualifications and experience. Guaranteed 20 hours per week but could be up to 40 hours at the discretion of superintendent. Purpose of Position: To perform a variety of clerical support to Business Manager and Superintendent. Essential Functions Include (but are not limited to): Screen visitors/students/public coming into the District Office; answer phones and route calls to appropriate persons; typing routine correspondence, letters, forms, claim forms or materials provided by staff in draft form; file forms, correspondence, letters and confidential paperwork while securing and organizing files; sort and distribute interoffice mail; assist with processing requisition requests, purchase orders, and accounts payable vouchers. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel a must. Receive and account for monies from school activities. Prepare and distribute monthly school board agenda and minutes.
