The University of Minnesota Extension and the Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism are hosting the 2020 Crop Management Input Seminar on Thursday, Dec. 19.

This event will run 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Hutchinson Event Center with educational speakers, agribusiness vendors, lunch and more. This year's presenters include:

  • Fall Urea Application in Minnesota Multi-Year Research Results presented by Jeff Vetsch, researcher, University of Minnesota Southern Research and Outreach Center
  • Farming with your Neighbor Panel featuring local farmers
  • Potassium Guidelines: Past, Present and Future presented by Dan Kaiser, extension soil specialist, University of Minnesota Extension
  • Corn and Soybean Disease Threats presented by Dean Malvick, extension plant pathologist, University of Minnesota Extension
  • Let's Talk Tiling Panel
  • Ag Person of the Year Award presented by the Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism
  • 2018 Farm Bill: What's New and Signup Decisions presented by Robert Craven, extension economist and director of the Center for Farm Financial Management and Farm Service Agency
