Graduation hat, diploma

Ten sixth-graders were presented with certificates of graduation by St. Anastasia Catholic School principal Julie Shelby at the closing of the school year May 30.

The Rev. Paul Wolf presided over the liturgy service.

Graduating sixth-graders were: Sophia Collett, Zoey Czech, Bella Fox, Nickolas Heining, Lucille Jennissen, Mattia Mach, Katie Roste, Rachel Skrove, Kayla Visser and Audrey Weseloh.

Graduates and their parents were guests of the school at a brunch and program. Sixth-grade teacher Greg Mihlbauer presented awards.

Visser received the Presidential Award for Academic Achievement, and Heining received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence.

Receiving the Student of the Trimester Award were Skrove, Visser and Weseloh.

Earning a place on the sixth-grade honor roll for the third trimester were Collett, Heining, Jennissen, Roste, Skrove, Visser and Weseloh. To qualify for the honor roll, students must maintain a B average or better for the trimester.
