Flag Day Ceremony

The Boy Scouts of America proudly displayed the evolution of the American Flag during the Flag Day ceremony.

The Hutchinson Flag Day Ceremony is on the move.

In a change from past years, it is at 5:15 p.m. Monday, June 10, at McLeod County Veterans Memorial Park, 295 First Ave. S.E. A free supper will be served.

At 5:45 p.m., Jackson Kramer is conducting a flag retirement program at the park. He is collecting flags that are old, tattered, torn and worn out beyond repair and will dispose of them properly. This event is his Eagle Scout service project.

The rain location for both events is St. Anastasia Catholic Church, 460 Lake St. S.W., Hutchinson.

Admission is free. Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs. For more information, call the Elks Lodge at 320-587-3116.
