The Hutchinson Jaycee Water Carnival boat parade was Thursday night on the Crow River.

Spectators lined the river's edge at Masonic/West River Park to watch boats sponsored by businesses, local organizations, sports teams and more as they floated by. Some threw candy, water balloons and miniature footballs while others fired T-shirts into the crowd.

As part of the festivities, people could also have their picture taken with Paul Bunyan's Axe, shoot paintballs at friends or listen to the live concert by Andy Austin on the RiverSong Stage. Food and beverages were also served.
