Hutchinson Police Services reported the following incidents:

SEPT. 8: At 6:37 a.m., police took a report motor vehicle tampering at Pro Maintenance, on Michigan Street Northeast. There was an attempt to steal a catalytic converter off of a vehicle. Part of the exhaust was cut, but the catalytic converter was not removed.

SEPT. 9: At 10:06 p.m., police made a warrant arrest at Burger King. Officers were called for a suspicious man walking through the drive-thru. When police arrived, they found Jason Robert Sutter, 38, of Hutchinson, in the parking lot. Sutter had active warrants for felony fifth-degree drug possession and misdemeanor domestic assault. He was arrested and taken to McLeod County Jail.

SEPT. 12: At 6:10 p.m., police responded to a crash at the intersection of State Highway 15 and South Grade Road Southwest. A 2001 Ford F150 driven by Lori Ann McElmury, 60, of Hutchinson, was on South Grade Road in the left turn lane waiting to turn, while a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 16-year-old Hutchinson girl was behind it. The Ford allegedly began to move forward, so the Chevrolet also accelerated, but then the Ford stopped and was rear-ended by the Chevrolet. Both vehicles had moderate damage, and three passengers inside the Ford were taken by ambulance for possible injuries.

SEPT. 14: At 3:09 p.m., police responded to a report of disorderly conduct at Hutchinson City Center. An unruly man was allegedly agitated, pacing around and yelling profanities. When police arrived, the man, Joshua Daniel Kable, 38, of Hutchinson, ran from the area. He was found a block away and refused to comply with an officers' commands. Kable allegedly made a motion to attempt to throw a rock at officers, at which point he was tased and taken into custody. According to witnesses, they were alarmed by Kable's behavior. Kable was taken to Hutchinson Health for evaluation, and later taken to McLeod County Jail.
