The 31st annual Forest City Threshers show received attendees that were eager to experience what the “good old days” were like.

The show, dedicated to the operation and preservation of tools, machinery and artifacts connected to old ways of farming, drew steady streams of people to the Threshers grounds Saturday and Sunday near Forest City.

Old technology such as saw mill, gas engines, stationary steam engines, blacksmith shop, corn shredding, threshing, antique tractor pull and many more were on display.

Covering stories that matter is what I am here to do for both the Litchfield Independent Review and Hutchinson Leader. School Board issues, news and human-interest stories are among the topics I write enthusiastically about. Follow me and say hello.
