Litchfield High School students went back in time to the “Roaring ’20s” at prom Saturday evening.

Arrangements of pearls and candles, as well as “wanted” signs for gangsters, lined the high school gym, transformed for the Grand March. Couples made the rounds beneath archways covered in lights, posing for three different photo opportunities.

Seniors Brianna Larson and Jordan Green were crowned prom queen and king at the Grand March. Their reign was announced through an opening of roses, with red roses indicating the royalty.

Seventy-nine couples attended prom. In a crowd of suits and elegant dresses, corsages and boutonnieres for the formal event, couples and friends boarded buses headed to the Sheraton Hotel in Minnetonka, where they enjoyed dinner and a dance. After-prom activities were held at the Thrill Factory in Minnetonka before the couples headed back to Litchfield early Sunday morning.
