As one of the top-ranked teams in Class A, the Litchfield girls tennis team looked the part on Friday, earning a 7-0 shutout win at New London-Spicer.

The contest was originally scheduled for Thursday, but was moved to Friday due to weather.

All seven matches were won in straight sets for Litchfield, with No. 1 singles Shanna Kinny, No. 4 singles Alyssa Ross and the No. 2 doubles team of Taylar Smith and Neriah Lara each allowing just a single game point to their opponent.

No. 3 singles player Avery Stilwell shutout her opponent entirely, winning 6-0, 6-0.

Litchfield is next in action with a home invitational beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday.
