Kendall (Larry) Mohr, 88, of Paynesville passed away Friday, June 14, at home surrounded by his family. A celebration of life will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at the Hilltop Restaurant, Paynesville.
Larry was born, in Willmar, to the late Henry and Gladys Mohr. He joined the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge. He married Dorothy Wood Oct. 27, 1952, in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. He worked as a fieldman for the First District Association of Litchfield for 38 years.
He will be sadly missed by his family and all those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy; five children, Kevin (Margie), Brad (Cindy), Todd (Elly), Nate (Michele) Mohr and Susie Johnson. 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren (and growing!); siblings, Janet Peterson, Jerome (Carol) Mohr, Judy (Doug) Angier, Geraldine (Danny) Bates and Eva Vossen; and sister-in-law Ginger Mohr.
Larry was preceded in death by one grandson Christopher Mohr, two brothers, John and Albert Mohr; and one sister Colleen Nielson.
Larry requested all memorials be directed to the Salvation Army.
